Going on a vacation and making some bacon jam for the trip (among other things)
modified versions of stuff online. 2 sweet onions caramelized w/ bourbon, garlic added at the end. Simmered with bacon, coffee, apple cider vinegar brown sugar and maple syrup. Pulsed soon.

Another room done. Pretty happy with the way the tile and marble came out. Will need to add more color pops with paintings and such on walls.

PSA: if you’ve just redone concrete in your yard do NOT buy these floor mats. We washed the windows, water soaked the mats, pulled dye out of the fibers and stained the concrete. Thankfully I just need to get bigger mats to hide this. Acetone and a wire brush was not removing it.

Starting late this year. Yard rework kinda pushed things off, including building this new planter box. But summer veggies are in! Various peppers, tomatoes, zucchini and a squash. On a drip system too. Easy peasy

We just went last year and yeah .... it's hard to grasp their scale in a photo. If you squint you can see people at the base of these trees!
