They justify the first by using the made up term, “narco terrorism” to claim it is a war. Which, while amazingly bad itself, is still miles better than this explanation for the second.

That "unattainable" person isn't interested in expanded legal immigration either. Trump's cruelty is actually creating a less hostile environment for legal immigration. So I think any "border security" message NEEDS to be coupled with the expansion of legal immigration.

Sure, those people are not "gettable" and I don't want them either ... but if we're playing for the margins it will matter. It's not like they can be for open borders in 2026 or 2028 and this topic will absolutely come up. My issue is, you don't ever gotta give it to Trump.

Like a ton of my favorite shows are Apple+ shows and I think part of that is because they're weekly single releases. I get to go to a subreddit for a week to discuss SILO, Foundation etc etc.
