I honestly have no clue why Americans give any fucks at all about the royal family. I consider myself lucky to not even know what perceived slight/s she’s committed.
I don’t care if people dislike Meghan Markle; I don’t know her and am not protecting her.
My issue is how incredibly angry they get about her, practically frothing at the mouth.
Everything she says and does (which is usually quite bland and safe), they act as if she’s just insulted their child.

My nephew was sexually abused by one of his older cousins. This below dynamic has never left my mind since.

As a former sex crimes & CSAM prosecutor, when I see a person acting out in outlandish sexual ways starting in their teen years and continuing for decades who persist in behavior that is clearly causing them harm, I strongly suspect that they were sexually abused as a child.

I think this hinges on the actual files coming out. Currently, all the R's that swapped are protected by Pam. There's a couple outliers like Massie and MTG, but by and large, the people that just signed on are doing so because they think there's a plan and that Trump and their team are fine.
I don't know if the Epstein vote is a one-off or not, but I've been thinkin of that very thin, translucent sticker film that comes when you order, say, a new monitor. It's devilishly hard to get the first little bit of the corner to separate but once you do, the entire thing pulls off very easily.

I’m not sure if it’s nostalgia or if people just heavily weight the ability to buy a home as part of the American dream. Maybe both. Food quality and cheap electronics are definitely better now. Shit … so is the air quality here in so cal. Housing tho ….

I would be fine with “we didn’t think we could actually extract anything and won the message war” if they didn’t do this days after a sweeping election that saw Trump blaming the senate GOP and demanding the filibuster be removed.
