I love putting on warm underwear straight out of the dryer.

Plus it’s fun to look around the laundromat and wonder whose they belong to…

This is worth a read. Former US security services,l pays out some of the major issues facing Trump's US if they invade Greenland.

Europe and the rest of NATO are not powerless against a bullying rogue US, far ftom it.

You have to wonder why it's taken an American to point this out.

Busy day today.
New black fig planted out. Shutters reinstalled, 40 decking boards moved to the wood store, Drainage gulley cleared and quick dash to shops.
Time for a cup of tea then shower and a tall gin.

Yesterday was a good day. Three local Christmas markets, small but a good variety. Ended up in Brantome and at lunchtime. Sat on benches outside, glass of wine and omelette with cepes, fois gras and truffle, a small side salad with walnuts and vinaigrette.

Today has been the last day of our honeymoon to #Maroc , where we stayed in Marrakesh.
Such a vibrant city and am sure just our first visit to this country. The friendliness is so welcoming.
Have already spoken to my plasterer with ideas on decorating doors in this fashion 🤣😂 back in Dordogne!!

Good morning all from a very pleasant 23 in shade. The pool at the clients Gite has been cleaned and chemical’d.
Now time for a calm coffee before braving the local supermarket.

Night night sweet dreamies

Don’t exhaust yourself trying to be liked. Whether people approve or not isn’t what matters
What matters is being true to who you are. When you show up as your authentic self, the right people will naturally be drawn to you.

Be you—for you

Word of the day is ‘forwallowed’ (15th century): extremely weary from tossing and turning all night.
