We Brisbanites are waiting for official approval to our planned march across the Story Bridge in solidarity with the people of Gaza on 24 August.

I don't know if any pol has fully digested what this means to younger generations. The bipartisan lesson from the govt is that human live has no intrinsic value and any amount of death and destruction can be considered necessary by our political system. Why should anyone care about maintaining this?
Just a lil idea, but next time one of our allies commits a livestreamed holocaust, instead of selling them weapons, hollowing out our universities, curtailing our rights to protest and having the cops beat up peaceful people, maybe we could try stop these crimes against humanity?
