Unacceptable to put the costs of the AI boom on the backs of families struggling to pay their bills. It’s a crisis.

“By 2028, an average family in the region will be paying around $70 a month extra on their electricity bills because of forecasted data center growth”

I'm once again asking why ratepayers are subsidizing AI titans?

TrumpRx isn’t healthcare reform

It’s Trump University all over again—a scam that doesn’t deliver

While he distracts w/ phony fixes, his shutdown is hiking costs & ripping away healthcare from millions

That’s the real crisis

I spoke to a Venezuelan woman who was arrested in this raid and later released with her 4yo son. She said agents broke down their door, pointed guns at them and made sexualized remarks about Venezuelan women. When she returned to her apartment it was boarded up and all her possessions were gone.

Magnetism is notion that if you want people to come to your cause, be attractive. This requires having a cause. It also means having a polarity that distinguishes you from opposition. You meet people at the place of their broadly shared values, not their podcast-promoted prejudices.

"Jamal and I both thought that his working for a high-profile paper like [WaPo] would keep him safe. Maybe I thought I would be institutionally safe. We were wrong...In violent, authoritarian regimes, no one is safe...And the truth-tellers are the first casualty."

As Saudi Arabia hosts comedians and courts gamers, the silenced voice of Jamal Khashoggi still echoes.

This is powerful, difficult, and important. One need not agree with every piece of Sharabi's political analysis to bear witness to the humanity – and inhumanity – within his testimony.

Juan has recently been released. Without charge.

He was detained, all day in a cell, simply for standing at a protest.

Thank you everyone for your overwhelming support and thank you to my senators for your support.

I will post more tomorrow but need to be with family tonight 🙏

Russell Vought's sick little power trip will also hurt GOPers. One project he's cutting is the Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Hub, which spans Oregon, Washington, and...Montana. The state's GOP governor has hailed it for creating "good-paying Montana jobs." Oops.

You believe innocent people should be shielded from violence, or you don't. There are no shades of humanity. I mourn with the Jews of Manchester.
