Just watched Gunn's Superman for the 3rd time. Still frickin love it. Of course, it's a story about an adopted kid being reminded his adoptive parents are his real parents & seeing as I was adopted (by awesome parents) I'm especially biased toward this film.

Joe Abercrombie's The Devils is phenomenal. And fun.
I've had a very busy several months so it took me far longer to read than it should've but I did like having this world along with me all this time.

Been playing a lot less D&D than I'd like lately so I'm giving solo D&D with the Mythic GM Emulator a try. Pretty fun! Have found some of the meaning tables could be a bit more evocative. Especially when dealing w/ antagonists. So I made these charts that roll more sinister… #dnd #solorpg #mythic

Some of the folks I know who've more-or-less grown up w/ social media… I'll still see them get dragged into twitter drama. They'll ruin friendships over it. And I'm like, "You know this is the machine making you feel this way, right? It's not other people. It's the machine." And they don't get it.

Welp… thing I'm learning this week… never do anything with anybody else ever. They will eventually do something stupid while you're not looking and then everybody will hate you for knowing them.

I write about city hall as part of my day job and can't post this to my main social account (because city councillors follow me) but, I have to get this off my chest somehow: There are a lot of weirdos on our city council right now. More than usual, in fact.
