The dahlias are out of the pots. Wow, they had bulked up. Great to be able to get on with the tulips. Mixing the compost is like making a rich cake, yum! #Gardenshour #Gardening

Good morning & welcome to #Caturday

There’s someone out there who still remembers you.

Not because of how you looked or what you did, but because, when no one else showed up with kindness, you did.

Kindness always matters

Elected in 1972 as the first openly gay politician in the UK, Sam Green served his community with commitment and courage, and we’re proud that Ed Davey was there to unveil a plaque in his honour.

Today on Trans Day of Remembrance we remember those who have lost their lives to transphobic violence, and reflect on how we as a society can end this loss of life.

Liberal Democrats will always stand up for the rights of everyone in the LGBT+ community.

Please don't cut back shrubs and hedgerows until wildlife has taken all the autumn berries! Hawthorn, for example, is a fantastic source of food for birds - including blackbirds, thrushes and (if the weather gets very cold) waxwings.

In Norse folklore, mayweed was known as baldersbrår, meaning “Baldur’s eyelashes.” Named for Baldur, god of light, beauty, and purity, these flowers, with their lash-like petals, were said to symbolise his radiance, and the gentle peace he brought to the world. #FairytaleTuesday
