I know. I KNOW. That getting rejected from projects is part and parcel of the artistic experience. But sometimes I get rejected from a project I really, really wanted to do (and was qualified for!), and have to take a couple of hours to sulk about it before I can go on.

Hozier is one of my favorite artists and his lyricism is a huge part of that. I feel like any of his songs, if they didn't have music, would still be gorgeous poems. And I never feel like he's forcing a rhyme either, which is impressive!
I also need to know: I am fairly middle-of-the-road on Taylor Swift but someone I know called her the Greatest Living Lyricist. She is not.

I finished the side project I've been picking away at for a few months- I learned basic resin casting so I could make luck point trackers for my DnD/ Tales of the Valiant hybrid home game! The chips and trays have tiny magnets so a little jostling won't send them flying. #TalesOfTheValiant #DnD
