THEY DID!!!
And, they did because they signed someone who they thought was one thing & ended up being the exact opposite. TK almost threw away the foundation of AEW to cater to someone who only cared about themselves.

During Hangman's mess of a reign where they basically neglected and abandoned the biggest, longest best told story they ever had at that point, they were getting a million+ tuning it. Yet it felt lifeless and like AEW was losing its personality and soul.
