like 95% of the people who they interact with are actively trying to hinder them. i’ve seen exactly two chuds come out to thank them, but i guarantee those guys can’t do shit to help support them

like i don’t want anyone watching a team of young kids developing and they win go “damn that hurt our draft chances” and i think that does happen sometimes, i think it’s better if you unambiguously want them to win even if they won’t win the title? not sure i’m making sense

that’s fair i see what you’re saying with the title or bust stuff too. i think winning should certainly be like, the preferred outcome on a night to night basis over not winning though, with other things than wanting a title being the priority i guess?

sports are at their most fun when both teams are trying their best to win and i think that should be the goal. sorry if this offends.
