I have been doing some drawing on paper the last couple of weeks and as someone who was mostly doing digital art it's honestly really fun. The drawing here are either friends I drew or part of an art trade (except the drawing of my fursona of course).

I'm going to be pedantic for a minute

The term 'doll' with reference to trans women isn't for me. It's just not. To me it feels like porcelain, airy, delicate, on a pedestal, an image of conformist expectations.

When coming out of survival mode, at some point you start to actually want things again and it feels terrifying because you hid and minimized yourself for so long.

The phrase "I would like" feels so oppressive on my lips, an imposition on people I feel grateful toward for simply keeping me around.

I did a headshot for a friend of mine to train for Art Fight. It's Noizzz the proto-spider!

It took me about three evenings to make this, which is a good pace for me. I might be able to pull off some stuff for Art Fight, as long as I remember to relax and have some fun. #furryart #protogen

Furality was really, really fun and honestly such a special experience for me that made me think about a lot of stuff in my life. I have to process this for some time, but I don't think I will forget about it so soon. Thank you all who worked and participated in it and thank you for the memories. ♥️

Over the last week I finally had the motivation to learn to texture my VRChat avatar since Furality is coming up soon. I'm pretty satisfied with the result and might go to the Furality New Players Night tomorrow to dip my toe in (if I can stay up until 3 AM at least 😴).
