stop asking me to review things!!! "tell us how we did" it was a dentist appointment. I cried and bled from the mouth. the maintenance of this decaying flesh vessel is tedious, humiliating, and ultimately in vain. bathroom very clean. four stars.

this is the judgmental guardian of doomscrolling, share to be released from compulsively picking up your phone forever
a small calico/tabby with her paw firmly set on a smartphone. she has a judgmental look in her eyes, like she knows what staring at it eight hours a day is doing to you and is staging an intervention

The problem with trying to do budget negotiations with this tinpot regime is that it’s like the King Solomon and the baby story. One side wants to preserve the baby (democracy, a functional government) and one doesn’t give a shit if it gets carved up as long as they win

And yet, INSIDE the National Gallery you have an uncanny sense of direction & I get lost!

Nature clearly just needs more fancy Colonial furniture.

I think people think that i know where way* more things are than I actually know, because i smile vaguely and nod. But if your town does not share its name with a metro stop?… 🤷‍♀️

Portland is doing it right!

This regime is a rickety treehouse full of bullies who want to force respect rather than earn it. Clowning on them strips all that posturing down to the weakness at its core.

Creative and joyful resistance is their kryptonite.

Portland is so good at trolling these fascists.

Highland cattle are famous for their ability to "disco nap". Normally these brief, efficient sleeps will last between three and twenty minutes, deploying a variety of objects as pillows, including moorland boulders, cars or any particularly large dog or sheep who happens to be nearby.
A highland cow having a little nap on a boulder on Dartmoor (ok, it was actually scratching its head)

Every time I see someone referring to Gavin Newsom as just "Newsom", the first time I read the post, my brain conjures Joanna Newsom, and I'm like "Hey man why are we saying mean stuff about poor Joanna Newsom?!" Then I realize we're talking about that jackass and I'm like oh. lol. Carry on!

Also, related, the time I was the Voynich Manuscript for Halloween and painted my own version of Voynich and made it into a manuscript dress.
A woman wearing a dress painted with cryptic language and flowers. Also her skin is painted with cryptic things. A close up of a Voynich bodice, with encrypted language and a couple of mystery flowers.
