I quit Star Rail for the same reason. I like Matt Colville’s take on FTP games. (He made Draw Steel) “If your game is free you’re telling me it’s worth nothing.” These games only care to find ways to siphon wallets, not to enlighten lives or impart meaning. Can they? Sometimes, but very seldom.
I think it’s really important that when a game goes from fun daily tasks to actively becoming a chore to you that that’s when it’s time to drop those games
And for me, Star Rail and ZZZ have definitely reached that point so I’m going to stop playing them now, cause I’m not enjoying them anymore

begging the media to understand that public services are not businesses and that they should not report that they lose money since that is an intrinsic part of any public service. they cost money, they don’t lose it. that is how public services are designed.

FFXVI does this really cool thing. It depicts how there are no small roles in a rebellion. The chocobo feeder matters, the jail guard matters, the cook matters. It’s not just 4 people in primary colored coats saving the day. The dev team on this game are real good at this whole story telling thing.

The modern conservative resembles a hoard of zombies that are out of fresh brains to consume so they now try to consumes their own rotten brains. It gives me hope knowing that this threat has a potential expiration date. It knows it’s dying and we cannot let it evolve.

I sincerely mean it when I say that it doesn’t have to be your favorite game, but your life is better off having played FF6 than not. Many things don’t check that box, but you will have a greater appreciation for games overall and music having experienced it.

Honestly, big shout out to the One Piece TCG. OP13 making a true triangle meta is actually tough to do. Often times in tcg’s we find that it’s binary, control vs aggro. This time for OP13 what an economy strategy present and is awesome seeing all three.
