I dislike the phrase "inadequate demand," so often used to explain sluggish economies. We have plenty of demand. But people with real unmet needs lack the money to buy, while the rich can afford superyachts. We have to stop pussyfooting around the need for a massive redistribution of wealth.

Researchers in Costa Rica found that pig carcasses decomposed twice as fast when vultures had access to them.
