People talk a lot of shit about how they were forced into being trans, but in my experience, the medical sector does everything in their power to _prevent you from doing it_. I have never been _fast tracked_ into _shit_. Even obtaining basic care is difficult at best and impossible at worst.
Not me learning you need these appointments just to get on HRT, I thought they were for like, SRS or something. Which would still be bad for that wait list.
In Glasgow, there is a 224-year waiting list for gender clinic appointments.
224 YEARS.
This is institutionalised discrimination. It's unacceptable, it's ruining people's lives and it needs to change.
We have the solution. Time for politicians to act.
