Travel day for fun, or travel day for not-fun?

As long as we can prove that we can support ourselves financially, we can move to Longyearbyen without a visa and live there for as long as we want. What do you say? I'm in if you are. @scottcranfill.com? @librophilia.bsky.social? (I've thought about this a lot.)

Left wrist is still only at about 80%. I don't know the medical terms, but if my palm-down hand were a starship, it's the port yaw movement that's still giving me trouble.

I think the kids would call that in 'interquel'.

We got started playing *Dispatch* as a family and just couldn't stop tonight! Regretting going to bed so late, but it's a great game!

Do the Germans have a word for "I haven't read the news all day and I feel better but also guilty about feeling better?" Is that what Fahrvergnügen means?

There're more moving parts this season, I think: (a) Lucy & Cooper, (b) Maximus and the Brotherhood, (c) Vaults 32 & 33, (d) Norm & Bud's Buds, and (e) Hank MacLean. Getting all that inertia moving, as well as giving them all the time & space they need, I can understand.

We're enjoying the hell out of it over here. We're also both huge *Fallout* fans and consumer whores, though, so YMMV.
