After refusing to extend the ceasefire agreement, Israel has launched into widespread bombing of Gaza, killing hundreds including many women and children.

All governments must respond to this despicable assault on civilians with immediate sanctions.

TIL that my former PhD supervisor has been emailing my university complaining about my public anti-genocide, anti-apartheid, anti-occupation stance.

Let me be very clear: I simply won’t be intimidated off this stance under any circumstances by anyone.
I cut all ties with my PhD supervisor in August 2023 because of an increasing trend of behavior I vehemently disagreed with — something I struggled with even as a grad student. Little did I know how much worse it would get and how low it could go.
