Political donations are institutionalized bribery.

Donors get access to policymakers, shape laws, tax privileges, lax regulations, govt contracts/subsidies, honours, power.

Banning political donations is a necessary step for free and fair elections and democracy

As gamers, we're used to companies squeezing every last penny out of us:

* Microtransactions
* Season passes
* Loot boxes
* Live service games

But this most recent trend of "Play 3 Days Early if you have the super-duper expensive version" really rubs me the wrong way.

King Charles inherited £650m tax free, gets £125m a year tax free from the tax payer and has an estate worth £22bn that’s never taxed.

But he still needed a 45% pay rise.

Like if he needs a pay cut.

Everyone trying to work out why video games aren’t selling anymore — “Too many games? Prices are too low? Marketing is hard?” — when the answer this time around is actually simple:

The world got *fucked* and no-one has any money

People are struggling to pay bills and rent, let alone buy your game

The current AAA game space is healthy and easy, no question. Simply force a studio to make new game based on market trends, and then when your guess was wrong six years later and it's out of style by the time it lands, you simply close the studio and start the process anew.
