In these extremely trying times, we must take Dr. King's words to heart and do all we can to put our country back on track. This generation desparately needs another Dr. King and I sure hope we find that person soon.

The Winter Solstice, the shortest of days, longest of nights. Where I live, the sun will set today at 15:39 but tomorrow it will be a whole four seconds later! Imperceptible, I know, but it won't be too long before the increasing daylength becomes noticeable.

Cooking a roast dinner is much better than having one cooked for you, because you can eat pretty much a whole extra serving while you’re making it. For instance, I just “tested” three roast potatoes. Next I’m going to test a Yorkshire pudding.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but you are on this earth for a reason. It may be you are someone’s best friend, it may be you are the caretaker to a hurt animal, it may be you smiled to someone on the bus & so they made it through the day. But you are needed. Thank you for existing.
