Bluesky appears sex worker friendly, trans friendly.

This is mostly an illusion caused by its small userbase. This illusion pops the moment its systems encounter a horde of dipshits. The trolls have simply not arrived in force yet.

Honest, good faith answer: the post below and others like it felt like toxic trolling to me.

They impacted my day-to-day experience by making me suspect that this site would become more unsafe for me and many others and made me spend a lot of time researching other PDSes.

It has affected my experience because members of my community, including those who built and maintained composable moderation that helped me, have left this platform citing a lack of safety and trust. Meanwhile, well loved community members are suspended and banned capriciously. It's concerning.

If someone is joining Bluesky for the first time and wanted to going Blacksky from jump without ever making a Bluesky account what should they do? They would need to sign up on the desktop and then use the Bluesky app for the phone, correct?
