Dude who handed Bush/Cheney the 2000 election, then voted to trash voting rights and campaign finance laws, tut-tuts about overreach by any one branch of the government and decries “vulgarity” in public life. All as he flogs his big-bucks memoir. How awful.

Harming the weakest and most vulnerable: the Trump touch. In a just world he, Musk, and the DOGE team would be tried for murder.

Never tire of these quotes from Amari and Joe after their TD hookup against the Bears in 2023. Great glimpse of elite athletes doing their thing.

Flacco for a 6th would be a trade. Flacco for a 5-6 swap is just embarrassing for everyone.
fritzholz.bsky.social
Consistently amazed at how little NFL players bring in trades. Flacco’s not his former self, but you’d think a QB-hungry team might have to pay more than a 5-6 swap for a viable veteran QB. Guess not!

Congrats! Amazed it’s been 9 years since the LA move

I saw the headline and assumed it was either parody or just clickbait. Amazing to think it could be straight.

Once “they’re eating the dogs and cats” worked so well, they’ve just completely committed to lying in every situation.

"What specifically GOP Reps/Sens are so afraid of." Yes, this.

Agreed. Building his staff from family and old cronies is one sign of how much he’s lost his edge.

Thanks for this, and the book sounds great. It has always seemed like the Buckley/National Review style — always a bit of a sneer — was a clear forerunner to today’s GOP style. He did give us Christopher Buckley, of course, so hats off for that.

Terrific, inspiring story about people fighting to make the grade to join the Army — which really needs them. A win-win result that features all the people Pete Hegseth despises.

Good for him for standing up and speaking up. I do wonder (serious Q) why so many people resign in this situation instead of saying “I’m in the right, you’ll have to fire me.”
fritzholz.bsky.social
As noted in the comments, this kind if breach should (and would) get any normal soldier or government worker fired and possibly jailed. Also, of course, these guys continue to illegally use Signal to avoid leaving a government record… and Congress cares not.

this is wild: while Stephen Miller's guy was in Minnesota for his uncle's funeral, somebody was able to see his entire phone and take pictures of his Signal group chats talking about military deployments to Portland, and brought them to the Strib (gift link: www.startribune.com/trump-offici...)

The government is in full shutdown and the Republicans are refusing to call the House back into session.

Want to know why?

Because we have secured the final vote on releasing the Epstein Files and they don’t want it out.

Call GOP and tell them to swear in @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social.

I think the lesson of the last 25 hears is that there’s *plenty* of dark money from right-wing billionaires (and Russia too) to help make this kind of thing happen.

Thanks for this update! Gift link is still behind subscription wall for me, maybe too many have already used it.

Unbelievable.

Last year, CNN ran a “fact check” of Kamala HQ that claimed we were lying for saying Trump’s plan is Project 2025.

Now Trump is outright admitting it’s his plan.

Legacy media failed the country.

Bummer of an ending, but a really fun season. Thanks for the coverage!

I feel sure we’re going to hear in the next week that he’s having surgery on his wrist. He hasn’t been right for weeks. And you can REALLY see how much the team relies on him to set the table.
