Butch as a specifically lesbian identity means a lot to me! It gives me a place to celebrate my queerness, words to explain my experiences and is full of joy and I genuinely want to see more butches in media and in academia and politics and visible in my life

I’m not good at short form posting but I’m currently reading journal articles dissecting gender as a racialised issue (and a form of white dominance + control) and have so many thoughts about this!!!

A thought that hasn't left my mind for a while now: Did we all watch all the same WW2 movies because there was clearly an enemy and it seems a lot of people's idea of the bad guy did not allign with the actual villains but instead they were...idolizing them?

Please don’t post on social media about who you know to be an immigrant or anyone you know who has birthright citizenship. Don’t even post that you know anyone who is even if you are being vague about it. This is just a gut feeling I have but I imagine that could be used against people very fast
