And also, "better" completely reverses my meaning. "Tighter" in this case referred to budgets. It's not enough that the world is (in most ways!) getting worse — AI suggestions that things are getting better make me want to punch someone.

Just now, I wrote a legible and correct sentence that ended with "things are tighter than ever." Gmail decided I meant "things are tiger than ever." Then it also suggested what I really meant was "things are better than ever." I wish there were a big button to tell AI "I SAID WHAT I SAID."
