We shouldn’t have to say this in 2025: hunting human beings is illegal––like many of Frontex’s activities, from cooperating with the Hellenic Coastguard to sharing the location of migrant boats with Libya, for which we have taken the agency to Court.

> By aiding and abetting these crimes, the suspects also committed crimes against the administration of justice under article 70 of the Rome Statute, offenses that carry up to 5 years’ imprisonment. The Article 70 case against Italian PM hashtag#Meloni remains pending before the ICC.

> pursuant to EU policy to kill by drowning and forcibly transfer all survivors to Al-Masri's prisons.

In the past decade +25,000 refugees were killed by drowning and +150,000 survivors were victimized in prisons a-la- #Al-Masri : murder, rape, torture, enslavement and other inhuman acts.>

🚨 #EU Crimes Against Humanity #Mediterranean🚨

Italy’s Tribunal of Ministers confirms the allegations in our pending #ICC #Al-Masri case v Italian Justice and Interior Ministers, requesting Parliament to remove immunity to enable prosecution!

In an interview with #RAI, Dr. Omer Shatz explains why👇

Frontex’s budget stands at €1 billion.

Yet it demands €7,680 in legal fees from a refugee who endured seven pushbacks and dared to fight back.

The EU’s legal system is designed to deter, not protect.

The four refugees who just jumped into the sea to escape the LCG join dozens of similar cases we’ve brought in FM v. Frontex before the @eucourtofjustice.bsky.social . How many more victims must be forcibly pulled back by Frontex and Libyan militias before the Court acts with urgency?

@freedomflotilla.bsky.social responded to a distress case. Notorious Libyan militia Tariq Ben Zeyad intercepted the boat; 4 people jumped into the sea and are now safe onboard Flotilla‘s Madleen. The 🇬🇷 coastguard must prevent a pullback by TBZ & take over the 4 people to let the Madleen proceed!

While the pushback unfolded, Frontex watched and did [email protected] dismissed ST v Frontex as inadmissible, claiming the materialization of another pushback against the applicant was not “certain.” For the Pylos victims, death by the “Hellenic colleagues” was all too certain
front-lex.bsky.social
The “Hellenic colleagues” of Frontex’s Executive Director are charged with causing the shipwreck that killed 600+ asylum seekers—clearly a pushback attempt. To shield them, the ED flew to Athens the next day to publicly absolve:

“The Hellenic colleagues who give their utmost to save lives.”

Alexander Dalli, a former Frontex 'expert', ran a Maltese prison nicknamed the “factory of evil.”

Now he’s Malta’s special envoy to Libya, overseeing pushbacks.

Our @eucourtofjustice.bsky.social case seeks to stop Frontex from providing information to Libya, directly and indirectly through Malta.

It would be interesting to know more about how the systemic neglect of hundreds of children in de facto detention camps - funded and monitored by the EU Commission - aligns with this lofty vision.

EU governments are pushing to set up deportation camps in non-EU countries — and to do so in a way that avoids judicial scrutiny.

These so-called “return hubs” would hold people who have received a final deportation order, even if they cannot be sent to their country of origin.
Newly leaked EU document reveals plans for deportation camps - designed to evade judicial scrutiny.
