and where NYC does meter parking, they give it away for free on Sunday. Free parking on Sunday is such an asinine thing for NYC to do, yet nobody ever questions it.

Manhattan aside it’s pretty insane that the rest of the country - from relatively small towns to big cities - has residential permit parking and NYC has no such thing.

There are murmurs of Zohran funding free busses with funds raised via parking permits for residents and I am very excited about it.
