I have been completely consumed by grief today, in what would have been my beautiful Mum's 77th birthday. It's a feeling like no other, I have no way to describe it. Just know that when I sign in to work tomorrow with a smile, that smile hides all the pain from not being able to give my Mum a hug.

It hasn't quite been a year since life changed irrevocably. My beautiful Mum died in April last year from sepsis, and Dad followed with pneumonia in October.
And while I grieve, I still have to somehow be the breadwinner for my family, & be on the receiving end of my young son's violent outbursts.

Peter Dutton has a salary of $400k, has been absent 12/15 motions but made sure to turn up to vote No for fee free TAFE. He only cares about his job when he can shut down a bill designed to help anyone but him - which is pretty in line with his record.

According to Jordan Shanks and the Nixon report, when Dutton was Immigration Minister 50% of of dept of immigration was purged.
Which meant there was less oversight- so our immigration system became riddled with criminal activity.
All because of Dutton.

I've been watching Drain Cleaning Australia on YouTube and while the dude is a quintessential Aussie (with inklings of Steve Irwin) the views of that side of the country are really where it's at. I really hope to visit Westralia at some point, it looks so beautiful.
