The first person to sequence a whale at single cell resolution is guaranteed a CNS paper. Then you'd need to sequence a family of whales.

In science, we don’t give negative data nearly enough love. Showing with genetic precision that CGRP and Substance P aren’t needed for different kinds of acute and chronic pain? That’s huge.

OpenScope has been a game-changer in neuroscience and served as a shining example of #OpenScience. I'm incredibly proud of how this program has allowed important questions about the brain to be pursued and shared with the world.
Great questions can come from anywhere. OpenScope allows researchers from around the world to pitch experiments to be run – at not cost to them – in the Allen Brain Observatory. 🧠📈

I have confirmation from several sources now that all T32s, many F30s and F31s, and most or all Center awards (P30, P50) have been terminated at Columbia.

This is quite damaging to research and to individuals.

This is pure terrorism and cannot be legal. But litigation will take time...
