As we approach this Valentine’s Day (where I am happily partnered up with a straight man), I am tempted to recall the year I spent with a vintage couture-loving lipstick lesbian GF and the hell spiral I fell into, trying to find her a vday gift. Wishing her current partner nothing but the best 💕

It’s horrifying but not surprising that cops in Uvalde are harassing the families of mass shooting victims.
“The findings highlight that the most energy-intensive tasks are those that ask an AI model to generate new content…” 1 AI image = the power used to charge a smartphone…except images are published in batches and reworks can be requested immediately. So it’s like charging 6 smartphones in 30 seconds

Not even joking. Customer support workers across companies should unionize. They are frequently abused by customers and companies COULD have a no tolerance policy but refuse to. CS could be an incredible job if agents weren’t expected to just be punching bags.
