Gift Link!

(You have to put in an email address, but literally any one will do; I used one I haven’t had access to in ten years.)
Trying to share a gift link. I wish they would note that the majority of the alleged Venezuelan gang members weren’t, you know, in any gang but I guess there’s only so much room for the administration’s lies to be corrected.
Rubio promised to betray U.S. informants to get Trump’s El Salvador prison deal

Epstein Survivor Lisa Phillips: Everyone makes it about Trump and Epstein, but it’s about this whole ring of men. That’s what makes me upset, because we know they were there. We saw them. We know there were royalty, princes, very powerful people in academia and tech, and we saw them at parties.

Pew has done a lot of good work on the political polarization of 'trust in media' over the years, and you can see that. Fox News is the overwhelming choice for Republicans, that's the design of its programming; Democrats have a broader set of sources -- www.pewresearch.org/journalism/2...

Any owner of CBS should be hiring CBS News executives with one mission: Putting pencil to paper trying to figure out how to export 60 Minutes success to the rest of the division, not denigrating *the* flagship broadcast for the network.

A recent study in ferrets suggests seasonal flu vaccines maybe protect from H5N1 , but not enough to count on. Vaccinated animals got less sick and shed less virus after H5N1 challenge meaning some cross-protection. But it wasn’t sterilizing: they still got infected.

It really doesn't matter much. It mattered in 2016, when there were no paywalls and there was still a media monoculture and at the least, you could analyze the propaganda. It somewhat mattered in 2020. It does not matter in 2025. These are dinosaur institutions that wore out their utility for all.

Behold this cover; truly a work of art.

And we're treating it that way: Starting today, you can find it on murals, billboards, and posters across in five U.S. cities.

How do we transform cities that surrendered to cars into great cities for people? Better ideas are the easy part — the hard part is making those ideas reality in an era of missing leadership and unprecedented lies and misinformation. That was my call-to-action today at #UtopianHours in Torino Italy!

I think putting it in those terms—that the speaker can ‘refuse to allow’ the House to sit—really highlights how ridiculous the unilateral adjournment/recess authorities are.
