If I'm following you again over here at BlueSky, that's because my Twitter account isn't accessible to me (it got locked the other day)

Unless I get access to it, then I'll be over here from now on

Feel free to follow back again, if you want😉

Not sure when/if I'll get access again
Speaking of the Eshop, I did notice that on NSW2 they actually sort fairly well & unlike PSN do NOT limit results to 100 so Hamster's Arcade Archives & Neo Geo ACA collections show ALL of their RESULTS

I got to see all AA & ACA games, including ones on sale

One question though why Hamster believes

We'll get the P4 remake, they'll possibly tease P6 for 2027-28 & still pretend SMT ...IF doesn't exist & wasn't the start of the Persona series

So business as usual😉

As I said before, they could technically port the PSP P1 & P2 duology since the tech exists w/o much work & overhead, we'll see

A partial email to Conatus Creative Inc. while I was trouble shooting issues with the hard copy of River City Ransom: Underground Dated July 2018

They were never able to fix the issue with the disc, I had to request a GoG key to get the DRM free version instead

I backed the game in September 2013

This is going to be a quick 'n dirty machine language translation from Edia like the Cosmic Fantasy Collections were, so please don't expect anything more than that

I'm literally shocked this is even being brought over here, since many of these Edia collections have been passed over

There's still

I am probably ONE of the few people who OWN a physical copy of the game, but as I said it CANNOT be installed without having Steam installed, so essentially it's a coaster

You could burn the GoG exe to disc, but it's not the legit copy from the devs that was officially released.
As a KS backer, only picked this up because they were supposed to do a DRM free physical release & they instead did a Steam installer on disc, so I picked it up in case it was tied to that

Thankfully they did release a version on GoG (which is not delisted yet, but NOT on sale) that they gave me a

Could be delisted by end of tomorrow since screenshots/media are already deleted

Radiant Silvergun is on sale on the eshop right now as well , that is all. 😉

Played through this the other night, it's good, but very unbalanced

Some levels are very hard, some over very quick, the ending, I don't even know if I got the 'good' ending or not

It's a step up from the OG game, but still leaves room for improvement

Excellent Zuntata Jazz OST

I also could have

Hope it looks better than the demo preview I just watched it looks slow & boring (which is a shame)

Right now, it needs more enemies & a serious injection of more action because it falls into one of those 'chill' games which metroid-vanias aren't known for...

Will keep my eye on reviews on release

A bunch of games that First Press games still has yet to release that are on SALE on the Nintendo EShop

So if you actually want to PLAY & SUPPORT the devs, here's a way to do it

While I'd prefer to have the physical copies I bought, cest la vie

Now on Sale

90's Euro (UK) mags, being 'casually racist' 🤨😐

I had started a project earlier this year (which I had to abandon due to time) to investigate whether or not there was 2D BIAS in the mid-90's during the PS1 era

& if it was somehow engendered by journalists of that time or PR from Sony

The results

CDPR isn't keeping GoG internal anymore, but it's staying with one of the founders (so essentially it's not going anywhere or changing hands or management)

I see a lot of people thinking that it means they're divesting them for a buyout or some such, I think it has more to do w/their plans to work

I appreciate Punchy correcting me😉👍

(I've been incorrectly combining both series for years) it also didn't help that Legend of Sword and Fairy goes by Chinese Paladin as well which further added to my confusion.

As you all know, I admit when I'm wrong & do my best to own up to it & do better😊

Reminds me of Softstar's other long running series that they worked with EAS to try and bring to the west, which bombed mega hard

Richman 11

Yet another game which failed to get across to the American market, due to no marketing, bad naming & being numbered 11, when no one knew what it even WAS
December 29, 2025 at 7:19 AM
Was Softstar not happy with EastAsiaSoft nor Serenity Forge?

Seems weird that most of their remakes came through EAS in the last few years & SF did Mists Beyond The Mountains, but now the S&F4 remake is coming from a completely NEW team

One thing I will say, is they're not doing a very good job of

After I played Gunstar Heroes I fired up Phantasy Star IV

Man this is a such a great RPG, it just gets into things, no plodding start, no 30 min exposition, no save the princess

You're a hunter, a full partner, you have a job, now GO.

I wished more RPGs did this, the game is also so FAST, the

Played Gunstar Heroes (yet again) the other night when I was indifferent to PLZA & the grind

I still cannot believe how AWESOME the game is & what Treasure did with this game on the Genesis/MD

It's techno-voodoo what they pulled off, on the stage w/the approach to the battleship, they managed to

We know that Sony can emulate PSP games on PS4 (Patapon & Castlevania) so why didn't Sega never bring Valkyria Chronicles 2 & 3 (they could license the fan translation for VC3) to PS4?

They have history of working with fans, this seems like a no brainer, yet they for some reason just never did it🤔😐

Funny part is, I have 2TB extra storage for my PS5 & XSX & still have plenty of room on both (on XSX I store all of my digital, but not on my PS5)

The XSX had that atrociously expensive proprietary mini-SSD that thankfully MS paid for, but has worked fine

Now Nintendo has done the same w/another
I'm already running into an issue with my SD Express storage on my NSW2 getting full

I transferred over all of my NSW1 games & in the six months since launch the SDEx has almost filled up & I haven't been buying a TON

So Nintendo thought THIS was the BEST way to let users keep their digital games

I was wondering why M2 was being so quiet with the Shottriggers line this year

I know the Toaplan / Clear River Games / LRG thing kinda screwed them up

Hopefully they have a whole bunch of games lined up for 2026

I'm going to be the guy that complains because of the older compilation collections (even with Space Invaders)

I'm not degrading any of the Hamster work, I own a ton of it, but the prices suck, I was happy seeing them have sales in the last year, which have stopped these last few months

Also it is

Want to focus on the lockout chip aka Nintendo's 'Seal of Quality'

We all know that Tengen, Sachen, Color Dreams, American Video Entertainment, Camerica, and Wisdom Tree had their own non-licensed titles of varying degrees of quality

We also know that the seal of QUALITY did not = GOOD

So that

Same with these, if they ported Etrian Odyssey to NSW, then these can be ported as well with no issues

Again they're in demand & sell out too, hopefully Atlus has these lined up for NSW2 ports within the next year or two
