Staying with the parents for Thanksgiving, and apparently my dad has become laser focused on throwing away the coffee filter the second the pot is unattended. Is making every pot from scratch a thing cause this is weird af.

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

The thing about having older parents is that, when you get a random call at 9:40 AM on a Tuesday, they can quickly ease one’s dread by informing you they were actually just trying to send a group text inquiring about everyone’s dessert preferences for Thanksgiving.

@qbklass.bsky.social random idea re the draft. How about abolishing round 1? All 32 teams have a period where they can sign 1 eligible player (maybe 2 weeks). Then it kicks off at round 2. Drama, intrigue, narrative, Bengals not signing anyone. Round 1 becomes a 24-hr news cycle and player friendly

If you’re looking to replicate the “drunk on eBay” experience in the kitchen, I highly recommend ordering groceries from Walmart. Legit disappointed for whoever was planning to bake what looks like 4-5 different types of cookies—apparently had none of the ingredients—and needed a bunch of towels. 😐
