It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

Proper maintenance by mechanics is not "readiness" apparently.
All Hegseth’s “warfighter” and “readiness” talk is so clueless and belied by the fact that the most important guy in the Pentagon is an out-of-shape 57-year-old GS-12 who hasn’t left his desk in 29 years who runs the spreadsheet that tracks the maintenance status of the air refueling tankers.
This has absolutely nothing to do with readiness
