Utter short sightedness not vaccinating front line staff.

For the cost of a Covid vaccine, I was off work for a week - a whole week of GP appts lost!

Okay, here we go.

Health & care staff are no longer allowed a Covid booster, but they're still expected to look after COVID+ patients.

NHS/govt is reneging on its duty of care. Staff will become unwell, and patients too will suffer.

You know what to do

Absolutely gutted. Hugely influential Manc legend, and probably the greatest bassist of his generation.

I still try, badly, to play his bass lines.

RIP mani.

Vaccines do not cause autism.

Keep saying things that have been demonstrated by robust science and are the subject or organised disinformation. Don’t just ignore the attempts to brainwash.

I came to this country as a child refugee. No English, no certainty, no idea what my life could become. Britain gave me refuge.

Not on a timer, not with conditions attached, but with a chance to grow roots.

Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

Resident doctors aren't greedy, and they're not militant.

It's just that after YEARS of being in an abusive relationship with government, they've finally recognised their worth.

This is actually really powerful.

We hear all the time about the amount of doctors leaving for better pay and conditions (fair play) but how many of us REALLY stop to consider the consequences?

If you think it's hard to get an appointment now - just you wait.

Stand with your Resident Doctors.
Haunting words from Dr Susie who we spoke to earlier:

"A huge number are leaving. Conditions [in NZ/Oz] are better because their system isn't as crumbling as ours, but if they make a life there - why would they come back?"

Stand with your Resident Doctors. You'll miss them when they're gone.

Removing discretionary local funding like this would end up with many practices closing almost overnight as this funding keeps them open after years of funding attrition.

It’d be a deliberate act as well as its not exactly a state secret that many practices are just holding as it is.

It has it's faults, and is far from perfect, but an impartial state run broadcaster, independent from Capital & Capital's baser interests is of crucial importance in the modern world.

We will be so diminished as a country if the Right get their way and dismantle it.

It is "by miles the most watched, listened to and read of all platforms in the UK" and "most trusted, at 60%"
