Raskin: "Elon Musk, you may have illegally seized power over the financial payments systems of the Treasury, but you don't control the money of the American people. The US Congress does that under Article 1 of the Constitution ... we don't have a fourth branch of government called 'Elon Musk'"

So, is an officer of the United States now reporting to someone without any legal authority under the laws and Constitution? Sure sounds like it!
If a U.S. attorney is talking to Musk like this, then he really is the president. “I ask that you utilize me and my staff…”

Smart.
BREAKING NEWS:

Canada has developed a detailed retaliation plan to U.S. tariffs that will seek to hurt Republican states the most.

What do you say to that?

My God. The world's richest man who, by the way, is fond of giving the Nazi salute (because breaking news he is a Nazi) now has full access to the U.S. payments system. What could possibly go wrong?
As long as this Elon Musk person isn’t known for blowing things up, we’re probably fine.

Just in case people don’t fully grasp it. The pardoning of insurrectionists is Trump’s way of building loyalty from militias and domestic terrorists to carry out unofficial acts for him

Everyone who spent the past four years swaddling Trump's open, explicit endorsements of political violence in obfuscatory euphemisms fully owns what's happening right now.

Worst of the worst. And what a large majority of Americans oppose.

"Lawyer for Enrique Tarrio, the former leader of the Proud Boys...said Tarrio is currently being processed for release from a federal prison."

Other Proud Boys also called to sign release papers.

Historian of fascism here. It was a Nazi salute and a very belligerent one too.

Musk did a Nazi salute because he knows there are zero political consequences to him doing so, and he can harass and intimidate anyone who tries to call him out. Expect others to follow suit…there are going to be a lot of unacceptable words and behaviors that are going to become “normal” + defended

This is the real POTUS. It's clear from Trump's own mouth before & after the election that Musk figured out a way to fix the vote counting machines in PA & God knows where else.This would also explain Harris losing WI,MI,NV & AZ where the Dem senate candidates prevailed. So Trump owes Musk big time.

At noon ET today, an adjudicated insurrectionist who previously took an oath of allegiance to the Constitution will be sown in & allowed to again hold public office. Given the express text of the 14th Amendment, does anyone notice a pesky little constitution problem with today's swearing in?

Exactly how I feel. My last post on twitter was yesterday. I refuse to use a platform owned by the oligarch who purchased it to help Trump win the election in the first place, and who will now be part of an anti-democratic state, ruling over all of us.
Today’s my last day posting original content and engaging on Twitter for the foreseeable future. If it becoming a cesspool wasn’t enough, a place where amplification is paid for and where absurdity is monetarily awarded, it’s now controlled by someone who think he’s part of the state. I’m good.

Any chance part 2 of Jack Smith's report (on the classified documents) gets released just before Trump's swearing-in? We all know it'll never see the light of day once Bondi takes over the reins at DOJ. Biden, who's covered by presidential immunity for official acts, should do it as a parting gift.

Here’s @jeffreygoldberg.bsky.social’s 2023 profile of Gen. Mark Milley—after The Atlantic published this, Trump floated the idea of executing Milley.

If you want to understand why Biden preemptively pardoned Milley, read this: www.theatlantic.com/magazine/arc...

It's a sad state of affairs that these pre-emptive pardons were even necessary, but we all know that Trump would've absolutely gone after everyone covered by these pardons.
BREAKING: President Biden just pardoned:

* General Mark Milley
* Dr. Anthony Fauci
* Jan. 6 Committee members of Congress and staffers
* The police officers who testified before the Jan. 6 Committee

Biden says these pardons are not an acknowledgment of wrongdoing.

You ain't getting it.
He admitted it.
Said it's too hard.

But he has ALREADY enriched himself and his wealthy friends with his and Melania's shit coins.

He doesn't give a fuck about you.
