heads up that bluesky doesnt show posts from other languages by default on your timeline, and its cutting you off from a lot of the community
go to bsky.app/settings/lan... and deselect any language from this setting, or else you might not see any of the new japanese users at all!

This, and Stockholm syndrome was invented rather than admit that even a robber is more trustworthy than cops.

remember, stranger danger as a concept was introduced shortly after some 70s studies came out and determined nearly all child abuse was from adults close to the family. it was literally a nationwide "fuck no that can't be right"
there is this constant lurid fantasy that cis men will pretend to be trans women to gain covert access to girls and women because in this scenario we're imagining predators are not the fathers or grandfathers or teachers or priests or cops who are already granted that access. come the fuck on.
