Today, the discounts are 25%.

Unprecedented demand, sure.

Probably a hallucination. IMO, costing AI companies money before they make a profit is ethical.
Copilot was laughably useless.

I really need to write a script that sends the same prompt to all the companies to maximize server costs while giving them no revenue. And generate/send random prompts.

Clanker scraping is interesting, showing reviews went down in the last day. It hallucinates on something as basic as this. The dead internet sucks.
January 5, 2026 at 10:12 AM
Wouldn't you know it, review numbers bumped up in the last few hours after being unchanged yesterday.

The rating of 4.37 hasn't changed despite the 20 extra reviews. Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.
Wish I had archived this more over the past few months...

We really need to start stripping medical licenses.

If Americans disable ASML EUV machines in the USA, ASML can continue selling them for over a third of a billion dollars a piece to the rest of the world...

A few toner cartridges aerosolized in the clean room would result in likely months of downtime.

Does "Invisible Touch Solutions" have any kind of web presence? As it happens, absolutely nothing. A little sus, as are the zero "verified user" reviews since days since this opened...
January 5, 2026 at 4:02 AM
Let's take a look at the reviews... Not much data to go on here, the thumbnails have been resized to be extremely small. But let's take "John R." whose profile pic shows "Invisible Touch Solutions"

I've blown it way up, can't read the text on the bottom.

Let's take a look at source code for the "Verified User Reviews", it won't fit in a window, so I've extracted the names and dates.
All reviews were "published" during 3 days in November, all between 8am to noonish pacific time.
Seems to me this is an odd time of day to leave a review.
January 5, 2026 at 4:02 AM
The funny thing is that if you view the main page's source code, we get this, showing a rating of not 4.4 but 4.37.

That little difference made me dig a bit further.

Weird to see the number of reviews set in the code and not fetched by the browser dynamically.

Let's look at ratings.

Despite the apparent need to discount all remaining tickets, right above the ticked purchase button we see the scarcity marketing strategy of "🔥Tickets Selling Fast"

And $45.22 for parking, tax in.

The Vancouver Harry Potter experience still appears to be having trouble selling out. After noticing heavy advertising in Google, I decided to check it out again.

The 20% discount from mid December has now been expanded to include Fridays and weekdays, they're still closed most weekdays.

It's pretty funny how the article's release coincides with a drop in their stock price.
