Pritzker: This is not about fighting crime. This is about the President and his complicit lackey, Stephen Miller, searching for ways to lay the groundwork to circumvent our democracy, militarize our cities, and end elections.

Miller’s sheer smugness (and obvious racism) truly gives him one of the most punchable faces ever. What a vile tiny man.
Stephen Miller: "All these demonstrators that you've seen out here in recent days, all these elderly white hippies, they're not part of the city and never have been ... we're gonna ignore these stupid white hippies that all need to go home and take a nap because they're all over 90 years old."

Yes. The cognitively-dissonant (and/or hypocritical) pearl-clutching by conservatives over Newsom’s obvious trolling is both funny and scary af. Kudos to Newsom and team for stepping in where others have feared to tread.
Newsom: I mean, even poor Kid Rock — these guys, they’ve gotten a little precious, haven’t they? The folks at Fox are like, “Oh, this is so unbecoming of a governor. Oh, oh.”

And meanwhile, they sit there reading his tweets every single day. Are they really that out of touch?

“…no business which depends… on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country…by workers I mean all workers, …white collar…as well as the men in overalls; and by living wages I mean more than a bare subsistence level-I mean the wages of decent living.”-FDR

4-year-old Bakersfield girl facing deportation could die within days of losing medical care - Los Angeles Times

Don’t ever tell me that Christians support the GOP. There is nothing Christian or Christ-like about this. Just plain old cruelty and callousness:
4-year-old Bakersfield girl facing deportation could die within days of losing medical care
In 2023, a Mexican girl, 4, was allowed U.S. entry for lifesaving medical care. She and her parents, who live in Bakersfield, have been told they must leave.

The Republicans are pure EVIL. They want to take from the poor & give to the already-wealthy, take food out of the mouths of babes & take healthcare from the most vulnerable. They want the USA to be a wasteland. The antichrist is thriving in the current Oval Office.
This is what the GOP is trying to ram through in the dark of night. But, we’re still here, fighting! Here’s what’s in this bill: A. A massive tax break for billionaires B. Billions in kickbacks & c...

How’s vacation going? Sure wish I could go on vacay AS THE COUNTRY IS COLLAPSING! I’m sure Kilmar Abrego Garcia understands you need days off. I guess our Constitution, that’s hanging on by a severely frayed thread, can try to hold on while you vacay. Vacationing during the end of democracy tracks.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.

We need to ban congressional stock trading—and I've got a bill for that.
