The nice thing is this backdrop is still hanging out at the former MGM Scenic Arts Department. (At least, it was until a few years ago, and probably still is.)

The worst thing about the phrase "what is this place?" is once you notice it, you'll see it being used ALL OVER in movies and tv and comics and prose, everywhere, over and over again.

The second-worst thing is realizing there's a place where it'd be really handy in your own story >:(

The voice of Darth Vader, from 1977 to The Rise of Skywalker, is gone. The narrator of Judge Dredd (1995) was also in Dr. Strangelove, SG-1, Conan, The Great White Hope, The Lion King, The Hunt for Red October, and so many classics.

He was 93.
