The currently viral conservative dog killing thing is morbidly interesting to me - I have known a few of these types in my life and it's very bizarre, it always seems to me they are shooting dogs as this sort of performative affectation, pretending to have this hardscrabble life -

One of those gaming curiosities I always found really interesting is that we had this brief period in the mid 90s where top down & isometric third person shooters got very popular and oversaturated the market in the same way we are seeing with roguelites now

Just saw a thing for Code Vein 2 and thought "you know, this was actually a pretty interesting game on the psp and maybe this new one will be worth taking a look at" and then I suddenly realized I was getting Code Vein confused with God Eater, a totally different thing lmao

Just a random fun observation here but I have noticed on many grocery store self checkout machines, for the items that you need to punch in (like produce) they often list the more expensive organic versions before the regular versions -

Good thread here - Pretty remarkable to see game industry executives (who, as it shockingly turns out, do not understand their audience or industry very well) just stepping on the same rake over and over again, one 9 figure failure after another
people are being mean to highguard cuz everyone who even tangentially follows games knows the GaaS space has no more room for projects like this and (correctly) views every new entry into it as Dumb Money pulling the lever on a slot machine after feeding in 500 years of man hours
