I should have hope that the conservative justices will find some spare originalism lying around somewhere but consider me not optimistic that they won’t give Trump another win here.

Trump take LEGO. (Let's hope the courts can use the Federal Circuit's decision as the basis for a speedy resolution of remaining procedural and merits questions that just tells him NO.)
Thanks to America’s ever shifting trade policies and Trump, LEGO has stopped shipping more than 2,500 pieces from its Pick a Brick program to both the United States and Canada.

Trump Take LEGO
The popular Pick a Brick service let LEGO fanatics get the exact piece they wanted. It’s no longer available to US customers.

Genuine Question because I Do not understand… so if these men roll up in plain clothes and masks, grab a human being… even a child, and throw them in an unmarked vehicle I am just supposed to look the other way and say nothing ?? Ask Nothing ?

Everyone I see one of these it seems like CGI. I don’t know why. Is too big and too much like a dinosaur. Can’t be real

I am sorry to say it, but this is probably one of the most important things you can repost today.

40-year (retired) teacher here. It's the panacea-of-the-month club. I can rattle off half-a-dozen brand-name reform initiatives without much effort. A book, a guru, a pilot school everyone goes to visit.

It's how principals become superintendent, and how superintendent become state commissioner.

Cyberpunk might be the most drastic example of a game with a slow start that then becomes very engaging. I almost dropped it at the start

YouTube picking random videos to auto download “for you” is what’s wrong with modern apps and the need to grow. I don’t want that. How dare you use my bandwidth and phone battery without my explicit approval. Never got a chance to opt out

I often get this sort of reply and strongly feel it misunderstands my view of aesthetics. I've clarified this before but will do so again in this thread. 🧵

Hatsuzoe or first addition was yesterday which doubled the volume to get the real fermentation going. Tomorrow we double again and then once more Sunday.

Photo of the start of the shubo from Sunday. Technically shubo should be 7 days but at small volumes that’s not necessary so first addition will be Thursday!

Accidentally pitched the whole yeast pack soooo we will see what happens

I put sake in my name so let’s do this. New batch of sake started this past weekend. We got rice, koji, and yeast here.

I bought the koji rice in Japan at a breweries bar who sells it to folks for cooking. But it’s gohyakumangoku

Also my first batch with Omachi rice from Isbell farms!

Dumb question I still haven’t seen an answer to. How did ChatGPT read all the books or (paywalled) news articles it trained on. Did OpenAI buy all the books? Do they have a NYT subscription they feed in? Seems unlikely they legally got access to every book it has read.
