I do think the self parody episode, War of the Cocophages, is actually way more mean spirited towards Gillian Anderson, when you think about the tropes it is mocking were created due to her being pregnant the previous season.
I love the X-Files but sometimes Scully’s skepticism makes me laugh. She goes on a whole rant about how “the odds of extraterrestrial life existing is negligible”. Girl you’ve seen a man fit into your toilet bowl, a ship that made you old and robot cockroaches but aliens are still too wild for you?

So Hops, @giantwallrus.bsky.social and I had a drive out to the cemetery to see how far out is was/how hard it would be to find! Found it at the foot of a single gravestone marking (mostly) infant losses from the 30s.

We're REALLY excited to see this vault get opened!
Will keep everyone updated!

Oh don't worry, most people thought Shakespeare In Love beating Saving Private Ryan was one of the Academy's biggest fuck ups and has fallen in relative obscurity. No need to tell people to forget it, it's been forgotten.

Fuck Rick Sanchez(not the cartoon) for normalizing Twitter as a rational barometer for social temperature. 21%? Why do 1/5th of just adults have such outsized staying power in MSM? Obviously because they benefit from the outrage.

Also fuck him for going on an antisemitic screed.
