I think the only thing we can do to get out of this mess is take full responsibility as Europe. Thank T for his 'services' and tell him not to worry about it anymore; this is now our problem. We will pay all the bills and even buy some US weapons. The only thing T has to do is: get out of the way.

Remembering today the brave souls who stormed the beaches of Normandy and parachuted behind enemy lines to defeat the hateful tyranny of Nazi Germany on June 6, 1944. More than 4,400 were killed and more than 10,000 were wounded. Imagine what history would look like without their sacrifice.
The biggest problem democracies face today is the rise of anti-democratic parties. Apparently large groups of people don't feel represented by traditional parties. How can we win them back for democracy without trying to imitate anti-democratic politicians?

In five years everybody who now owns a smartphone will have an AI companion integrated in their glasses or earbuds, with whom they will be in constant communication. Emotional relationships with other humans 'to whom one has to explain everything' will be uninteresting. Next: Neuralink integration.
