East coast gov't attorney, twin mom, 🔵 politics up and down the ballot. I love you, Dad; I will carry you with me to the end of my days, remembering all those moments you taught me to trust in my own heart to be alive. ♥️

My 20yo son's favorite book in 2nd grade was And Tango Makes Three. He was obsessed with penguins! If you think a book about 2 male penguins raising a baby made my son gay, seek help. If you think my son grew into a more well adjusted gay man being raised in a welcoming household, you are my peeps!

Reading the pardon coverage...I don't think the significance of the Gaetz/Patel/Bondi nominations has sunk in. People still aren't getting what a politicized DOJ and FBI, with the power to arrest/bug/harass anyone for any reason, would be able to do.

I can’t even imagine suggesting in public that Biden can somehow restrain Trump by modeling good behavior. Seriously, how embarrassing for anyone who understands that little about the world and what we’re in for. Put on some clown makeup and sit in the corner.

My father was a Colonel in the U.S. Army. At his burial at Arlington National Cemetery Jan 12, 2017, when the officer presented us his flag “on behalf of the President of the United States...” we were so grateful the President was still Obama; even he knew "that Trump guy is a true clown."

I doubt Leonard Leo's SCOTUS would grant the same immunity to Biden that they granted to Trump. THEY decide. So you can blame who you like, but for me, the blame belongs with the court. No matter who indicted Trump or when, SCOTUS was not going to let Trump be prosecuted. Period. END/

Many folks ask why Biden isn't using his immunity to do something. That's because it's not "his" immunity. It's the Supreme Court's. The justices set it up in such a way that THEY decide on a case-by-case basis which president is immune for what act. 9/

My one constructive criticism on BlueSky, as a community: we need to “like” less and “retweet” more. In the absence of an algorithm, that’s the way we find each other and reward good content.

Pete Hegseth's daughter (conceived with his 3rd wife while he was still married to his 2nd wife) was born on 8/16/17. She was 7 weeks old when he "allegedly" raped a woman in his hotel room, ejaculated on her stomach, threw her a towel, and told her to clean up, on 10/7/17. Just like 47 and Stormy.

Matt Gaetz resigning his seat in Congress only to withdraw in disgrace from nomination for Attorney General warms my heart.

My first post in the 'Sky, and as a federal attorney, it's fitting that it be to dance on Gaetz' proverbial grave and go wilding through the cemetery in celebration that his AG nom is dead, dead, d-e-a-d.

One feature I would like Bluesky to add:

Please let me block someone directly from their post

I don't want to have to go to the profiles of a dozen bigots in a row when I stumble across a gaggle of Twitter interlopers getting their jokes off

Well, their one joke. Ain't like they got jokes plural
