👀 DOJ acknowledges making two significant errors during a court hearing last week on efforts to dismantle USAID

1) It said only 500 employees had been placed on leave. Actual number was 2,140.

2) Said only future contracts were stopped. Existing contracts were also stopped.

Gov Hochul can fire the mayor. She should have done so when the scope and scale of his cascading congenital corruption career was laid out in federal indictments. She waited for him to go to trial. Now that injustice has taken its course she is the only reason he remains in office. Step up Hochul.

Tesla sales have fallen off a cliff.

This fact is satisfying on moral, spiritual, and psychosexual levels. But it’s also important in the real world—and in the political world. Today we’re going to talk about Tesla.

Because this platform is moderated. This is not Twitter. There is no Elon Musk dominating an algorithm that drags down the platform

Bluesky is unique. We need it to grow.
The problem with calls for “discourse,” is that MAGA isn’t interested in an exchange of ideas. It wants to leverage the rules of polite to destroy discourse. It wants to walk in, shout us all down, spit lies, and thumb their noses at us.
Shout “if you’re so tolerant why don’t you tolerate my hate?”
Some don't want posts like this on @bsky.app. I want more. Why ?

This is a moderated platform. Which means unbridled hate is removed. And blocked.

Making this is a platform where we can engage and have real discussions on real issues.

Musk is on a revenge tour as much as Trump. He sees himself as a world savior.

How dare the government regulate and investigate him?

How dare a liberal San Francisco audience boo him?

Musk's "deferred resignation" contract is a TRAP.

Anyone who signs it WAIVES all rights to pursue legal action against the government -- including TO ENFORCE THE RESIGNATION AGREEMENT ITSELF.

So Musk and Trump can just break the contract, and there's nothing you can do.
