Yeah. But something I’ve realized with this stuff is that we don’t need outrage from people. I’m plenty outraged. Trans people are outraged. We need support and action and care.

I don’t have any profound thoughts on what to do with those feelings. As someone who describes themselves as pragmatic (it’s pattern recognition, not pessimism!) I struggle with the concepts of rebirth and fresh starts that pervade this holiday.
