Being an Aries rising with Mars in the 7th is sometimes saying things and coming across really mean when that wasn't the intention EVER.

As a Mars-ruled person with a weak Mars, this transit of both Mars and Mercury in Scorpio is doing wonders for me. Triggering? Yes, but worth it.

Saturn and Neptune in Aries will be SO loud next year.
Hegseth: "As history teaches us, the only people who actually deserve peace and those who are willing to wage war to defend it. That's why pacifism is so naive and dangerous."

Democrats would prefer to stand for nothing and see their party destroyed than embrace leftist politics. Because look at that "support".
Kamala Harris on Mamdani: Look, as far as I'm concerned, he's the democratic nominee and he should be supported.

One of the most valuable lessons from Latin American politics is that resistance is not something merely done in times of crisis.
Through a different lense, resistance in remote and marginalized communities is the only way to keep living a dignified life.
This was written just after Trump won, but it contains a lot of useful lessons still very applicable today:

We cant afford to wait to be "saved", there's a hundred actions you could take right now, today, in your community to build resistance to oppression
As U.S. braces for Trump, it could learn a lot from the Global South about what "resistance" really means
Going beyond hashtags and doing the real work of building community is our strongest defense against authoritarianism

None of us are going to get out of the responsibility to define ourselves for ourselves. I, too, wish there was a manual. There isn’t. Nor any one person with all your answers. It’s just me in here, and it’s just you in there. We can belong to one another, but we can’t fix each other.

No but seriously where are the hundreds people that disappeared from the monstrosity of the so called “Alligator Alcatraz”? Why aren’t people talking about it? I can find very little and it’s from weeks ago!

Are we at the disappearing phase of this horror?!

Hundreds of Alligator Alcatraz detainees drop off the grid after leaving site
As of the end of August, the whereabouts of two-thirds of more than 1,800 men detained at Alligator Alcatraz during the month of July could not be determined by the Miami Herald.

I didn’t understand much about my moon being in Virgo, but the south node and these series of eclipses have shown me how “being of service“ works.

Wtf
This man will not be fired for calling for the murder of American citizens, yet multiple journalists/reporters/teachers lost their job for accurately reporting things Charlie Kirk actually said and stood for.

But it’s the “violent left” that’s the problem

A dramatic, extremely worrying moment; over 61,000 people held in ICE detention. That is the highest number ever on record in United States history; roughly 6,000 higher than the previous record set under Trump six years ago, and over 21,000 higher than when Trump took office just seven months ago.
ICE just released updated detention statistics.

As of August 24, ICE is holding 61,226 people at authorized facilities around the United States and its Territories.

When I realize that we are all mortal, and that to love I must accept pain as a natural part of it, the pain no longer feels like a burden but as a sacrifice I willingly make to experience love in its fullness.
