Getting there...

They have a Clarence Boddiker funko pop, with bullet-holes

Hahah ok.
Also, Duke and Cobra Commander were drinking buddies

One should not be too concerned about the variance in loudness between songs (unless it's really extreme.) Look at Autechre's "SIGN": As low as -18 LUFS and as high as -11. Dynamic range from 14 to 3! Worse comes to worse, you turn the track up or down.

Looking back at your accomplishments is nice, but you can't live there.

Surely, totally unrelated:

Uh oh, someone said "Aliens," so I guess I have to watch it tonight. (From the Alien Anthology blu-ray, 2010.)

Still may keep the thing because totally saved this one track.
I was having a lot of trouble capturing these specific, 2khz transients and dynamic EQ wasn't quite doing it.
The "saturation" model managed to stomp them down just a bit, so I could control the high end better

For instance, I have a track that's pretty jagged and others that are more sustained and sausage-like.
If I mastered the spiky track at the same loudness as the less-dynamic one, I'd blow the listener's ears out.

20 tracks is too many tracks. I gotta chop it up.

C'mon this Josh Wink acid mix breakdown is kinda alright, I'd say

1995 was a big year for techno/house/club music for me. As such, Moby was pretty huge. My very first tracks definitely sounded like "Bring Back My Happiness" and stuff from Everything Is Wrong. This album had elements of jungle, house, etc. I was so into it.

You think The Wall music store will still honor their promise?

I was gonna be a hater, but this guy actually understands that one of the few ways to get that authentic, lo-fi sampler sound (Emax, S950) these days, is to not throw a decimator effect on, and not pay a million dollars for a Rossum, but consider the B's LmDrum

This Reaper action has been a boon to my creativity: "Render tracks to stereo stem tracks, obeying time selection."
Essentially, freeze the track, bounce it to another track, then mute the original track (within the time selection.)

Mission complete

Oof. Monomachine or buy a used 2014 Kia Forte LX?
December 27, 2025 at 8:18 PM
The iconic Godflesh logo.
I had this t-shirt in high school. I wore it because I was a goth/industrial kid.
The album itself is not that great. (I can say this about a great many things that I was into at the time.)
December 26, 2025 at 3:12 AM
You can have yours for just...$1200???!
December 24, 2025 at 5:28 PM
Yeah, I'm sure it's going to be a chart-topper, especially with a title like that
December 23, 2025 at 8:34 PM
Huh? Nobody told me about this PTA film starring Leo?
