gently: it's fine if you don't love explicit sex scenes in fiction but it would be cool if you could talk about it without sounding indistinguishable from moms for liberty

And a bonus, please stop saying that your guilt over using it justifies the use, like you’re paying an emotional tax to make it okay. You don’t need it. Our society and our planet don’t need it. Please 🙏🏻 💜
Let's make something clear for 2025
There is NO ethical way to use AI gen.
You are using it? Ok, but don't try to gaslight people, explaining that the way you do it, isnt problematic, hurtful and wasteful. Cause that is NOT a thing!
Happy new year!

Also tired of hearing that disabled people should be thrilled by this junk. As a person who is frequently in crippling pain: I would rather get a single human sentence. A murmured, apologetic voice note. A silent phone call. The human connection is the fucking point of this stupid phone in my hand
Sounds like AI generated writing tools have hit the latest iPhone update.

Not to be dramatic but if I ever find out you’ve used an AI to talk to me we’re 100% done.

Like if you can’t be bothered to actually talk to me why the hell should I be expected to read it? Why would I ever want to know you?

to me it also means you don't care enough about your story to pay a human artist to illustrate the cover for it.

after all, if you as the author are not willing to invest in quality cover art, then why should I as the reader invest in your story?
Authors who use AI covers:

what I need you to know is that I assume your books are at least partially plagiarized. If you can't see the ethical problem with stealing someone's work in another field, I do not believe you have any moral discernment, period.
