This is troubling news for many different reasons. If rigorously researched information based on evidence is banned, it sends a message that someone wants to hide information, facts.

Also, I don’t know anyone who supports camera enforcement who doesn’t also want to change road layout. It’s a both/and situation.

Honestly, have people who say this sort of thing never been to Europe or East Asia? (The countries eating our lunch on reducing traffic violence.) Yes, they've made a bunch of design changes to reduce speeds, and have much better transit. But they also have speed and red light cameras everywhere.
